I am an astrophysicist currently holding appointments as an Associate Professor in the Department of Astronomy and Associate Astronomer at the Steward Observatory at the University of Arizona.  Broadly speaking, my research interests are in galaxy evolution and dynamics.  I am also devoted to building healthy cultures for scientific inquiry in astronomy and physics.  I have a particular interest in supporting Indigenous physicists and the building mutually beneficial and respectful partnerships between Indigenous communities and major astrophysical facilities.  Welcome to my website!
